Eric Shirbini, Global Product Specialist at ERI Scientific Beta, has been invited to speak to the Washington Association of Money Managers on the subject of "Smart Beta 2.0: Bringing Clarity to the Smart Beta Offering". The presentation will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2015.

The Washington Association of Money Managers is a public organisation formed for the education and exchange of investment management ideas, concepts, and techniques. Its members include portfolio managers, investment advisors, investment analysts, traders, and institutional sales professionals from banking, money management, trust estate management, consulting firms, broker dealers, trade associations, and various government agencies.

Prior to joining EDHEC-Risk Institute, Eric Shirbini was a quantitative analyst at UBS, BNP Paribas and Nomura International. During this time he worked on a diverse range of topics including multi-factor models, fundamental stock valuation, equity market indices, portfolio construction and portfolio trading. At BNP Paribas Eric managed a team of analysts who were responsible for the Global Equity Research Database. Mr. Shirbini holds a BSc and PhD from University College London and an MBA from CASS Business School.
