Eric Shirbini, Business Development Director Europe at ERI Scientific Beta, will be the featured speaker of a complimentary webinar on the theme of Smart Beta 2.0, organised on 5 September, 2013 at 14:00 BST by IndexUniverse.eu.

Investors are being offered more and more indices under the guise of "smart beta". The term now covers a variety of investment approaches, all of which depart from the traditional method of weighting index constituents by their market capitalisation.

This webinar will explore a framework to measure the risks associated with different smart beta approaches and discuss how to control those risks. It will also look at the pros and cons of capitalisation-weighting and examine the best way to include smart beta in the investment process.
