Scientific Beta

Scientific Beta will be hosting a session entitled "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About ESG* (*But Were Afraid to Ask)" at the 9th Annual Institutional Circle Forum on 23 May, 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Erik Christiansen, ESG & Climate Investment Specialist at Scientific Beta, will be hosting a presentation entitled "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About ESG* (*But Were Afraid to Ask)" at the 9th Annual Institutional Circle Forum on 23 May, 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland. The session will be moderated by Marianne Piquerel, Senior Business Development and Sales Manager Europe at Scientific Beta and InCircle Conference Advisory Board Member. 

Institutional Circle (InCircle) is a non-profit association and an independent exchange platform dedicated to Asset Owners, Family Offices and HNWI. The platform aims at helping worldwide institutional investors to collaborate through high-level meetings and research networks to share investment ideas and address common challenges, always in a collegiate spirit through an annual conference held in Geneva.

Erik Christiansen was previously Head of Investment Strategy with the Etablissement de Retraite Additionnelle de la Fonction Publique (ERAFP), the mandatory pension scheme for French civil servants, where he was responsible for implementing the equity and ESG strategies. He has also previously worked as a Methodology Coordinator and Analyst at Vigeo Eiris, the ESG rating agency. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Management from the ESCP Business School and is a CFA charterholder.

 

Marianne Piquerel joined Scientific Beta in 2016. She is responsible for Business Development and Sales Management in Continental Europe for Smart Beta, Climate Impact Consistent Indices, and Macro Indices offerings. Previously, Marianne worked for more than 10 years as an Equity Derivative Salesperson (structured products, exotics & flow), covering France, BeNeLux and Portugal at Barclays Capital, Societe Generale CIB, and BNP Paribas Arbitrage. She graduated from ESCP-Paris and Dauphine University where she majored in Finance.
