The summit brings together policymakers and leaders in the ETF market including fund houses, index providers, authorised participants, market makers, banks, exchanges and technology platforms in a full-day, high-level discussion of the key issues, challenges and opportunities in the Asian ETF market.
Frédéric Ducoulombier will be participating as a panellist in the session entitled "In focus: The smart beta debate". The growing excitement over smart beta globally has sparked the interest of Asian investors, yet the uptake from investors who are looking for better returns, is quite subdued. Frédéric Ducoulombier is Business Development Director, Asia ex-Japan and the Middle East with ERI Scientific Beta and is a member of the ERI Scientific Beta Executive Committee and Corporate Director of ERI Scientific Beta. He is also directly responsible for compliance, governance and transparency at ERI Scientific Beta. Frédéric Ducoulombier has spent much of his career at EDHEC and more particularly at EDHEC-Risk Institute, where he was in charge of EDHEC-Risk Executive Education and then EDHEC-Risk Institute—Asia.
