Frédéric Ducoulombier, Business Development Director Asia ex-Japan and the Middle-East and Corporate Director at ERI Scientific Beta, will be participating as a panellist in the session entitled "The future of smart beta in Asia", which will look at how smart beta products are developed, how investors should evaluate these products and how smart beta can fit into an investor's portfolio.

Frédéric Ducoulombier, Business Development Director Asia ex-Japan and the Middle-East at ERI Scientific Beta, will be speaking on the theme of smart beta at The Asset 2nd ETF Asia Summit in Singapore on 16 November, 2016.

The summit will bring together investors, asset managers and product providers to discuss and debate the factors driving the development of the ETF market in Asia.

Smart beta attracted interest from Asian investors as they increasingly seek to diversify. But a lack of understanding of the product is slowing its adoption. Frédéric Ducoulombier is Business Development Director, Asia ex-Japan and the Middle East with ERI Scientific Beta and is a member of the ERI Scientific Beta Executive Committee and Corporate Director of ERI Scientific Beta. He is also directly responsible for compliance, governance and transparency at ERI Scientific Beta. Frédéric Ducoulombier has spent much of his career at EDHEC and more particularly at EDHEC-Risk Institute, where he was in charge of EDHEC-Risk Executive Education and then EDHEC-Risk Institute—Asia.
