The first one included complying with YFYS, where super funds would fulfil their YFYS obligations but risk allegations of greenwashing for making net zero commitments they may not fulfil, or they can pursue net zero commitments. In the second scenario, they would need to invest in line with their net zero commitments but prepare for potential repercussions if they fail the YSYF performance test, which could lead to significant regulatory action.
