Erik Christiansen, ESG and Low Carbon Investment Specialist at Scientific Beta, recently participated in a panel discussion on the topic "Are your Climate Investments Paris Aligned?" at the Financial Investigator Climate Summit that was held on 19 May, 2023 in Bussum, The Netherlands.

The highly topical summit addressed questions such as "How to set climate objectives that align with Paris and the 1.5°C scenario?", "How to achieve 'net-zero' as soon as possible?", "How to identify the climate performance of your (climate) investments?", and "To engage or to exclude?". 

Erik Christiansen was previously Head of Investment Strategy with the Etablissement de Retraite Additionnelle de la Fonction Publique (ERAFP), the mandatory pension scheme for French civil servants, where he was responsible for implementing the equity and ESG strategies. He has also previously worked as a Methodology Coordinator and Analyst at Vigeo Eiris, the ESG rating agency. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Management from the ESCP Business School and is a CFA charterholder.
