Felix Goltz, Research Director at ERI Scientific Beta and Head of Applied Research at EDHEC-Risk Institute, is the keynote speaker at the Smart Beta & Factor Investing European Roadshow 2016 in Zurich, hosted by Risk.net, on 5 October, 2016.
During his keynote address, entitled "Using smart beta to drive returns", Dr. Goltz will elucidate on the successful implementation of smart beta and multi-factor strategies within an investor's portfolio and share his thoughts on what is driving the interest in smart beta.
The event brings together investment professionals within portfolio management, asset allocation and fund selection to learn about the most up-to-date approaches to smart beta investing.
Dr. Goltz carries out research in empirical finance and asset allocation, with a focus on alternative investments and indexing strategies. His work has appeared in various international academic and practitioner journals and handbooks. He obtained a PhD in finance from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis after studying economics and business administration at the University of Bayreuth and EDHEC Business School.
