Felix Goltz, Research Director at ERI Scientific Beta, and Head of Applied Research at EDHEC-Risk Institute, has been invited to speak at the Buy-Side Risk Europe conference on 13 April, 2016 in London. His stream session, entitled "Index strategies, smart beta and enhanced customised indexing" is among the key themes to be discussed at the event.

Felix Goltz, Research Director at ERI Scientific Beta, and Head of Applied Research at EDHEC-Risk Institute, has been invited to speak at the second annual Buy-Side Risk Europe conference organised by Risk.net on 13 April, 2016 in London. His stream session, entitled "Index strategies, smart beta and enhanced customised indexing" is among the key themes to be discussed at the event and will look at:

• Alternative indexing methods - using Smart Beta to outsmart the market
• Market cap-weighting and over-valued stocks
• Highly liquid ETFs and the implications and developments in credit markets and the downside on risk
• Enhanced indexing - combining passive and active management
• How "smart beta, index strategies and customised indexing" change the risk profile of an investment
• What specific risk management challenges are posed by the above strategies for asset managers

The event has been designed entirely for the buy-side risk and investment community including pension funds, insurance companies, corporate investors, asset managers and hedge funds.
