Erik Christiansen, Senior Business Development Director at ERI Scientific Beta, participated as a panelist in the session on "Pulling it all Together" at the Coreshares "Think Index Investing" Convention in Johannesburg on Thursday 21 June, 2018. The convention provided participants with strategic insights and practical advice on issues pertaining to the passive investment management market and ETFs in particular from a panel of both global and local industry leaders. The 2018 event honed in on Smart Beta, tackling this category of investing from a number of angles.

Erik Christiansen, Senior Business Development Director at ERI Scientific Beta, participated as a panelist in the session on "Pulling it all Together" at the Coreshares "Think Index Investing" Convention in Johannesburg on Thursday 21 June, 2018. 

The convention, which is South Africa's premier thought leadership event on indexing and passive investing, provided participants with strategic insights and practical advice on issues pertaining to the passive investment management market and ETFs in particular from a panel of both global and local industry leaders.

The 2018 event honed in on Smart Beta, tackling this category of investing from a number of angles.

Erik Christiansen is Senior Business Development Director with ERI Scientific Beta. He was previously Deputy Director in the Intellectual Property division of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC), the French sovereign wealth fund, and Head of Investment Strategy with the Etablissement de Retraite Additionnelle de la Fonction Publique (ERAFP), the mandatory pension scheme for French civil servants, where he was responsible in particular for the equity portfolio. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Management from the ESCP Business School and is a CFA charterholder.
