Scientific Beta

The Scientific Beta index methodologies do not allow for retrospective changes to previously published index values, except in the case of index calculation inaccuracies or errors. Scientific Beta’s operational procedures include extensive input and output data quality checks that aim to detect and correct erroneous data prior to index value publication. Nevertheless, Stakeholders should be aware that index inaccuracies may arise. In the event an inaccuracy is detected after publication, Scientific Beta will follow the corresponding rules to ascertain whether an index or several indices should be recalculated and report index restatements.

This policy applies to all indices administrated by Scientific Beta unless if otherwise specified in the index relevant methodology document.
